Célia BERTRAND lives and works in Paris. After a master’s degree in Art History and Archeology and a Master in Development of Heritage, she completed her training at the Cleveland Museum of Arts in the United States. Her specialization in heritage restoration leads it to Monuments sites Historical and excavations at the Villa Medicis. Then her meetings with decorators leads her to head towards design where she goes create decorations and leaf gilding before developing more work staff. In parallel, she learned ceramic in different Parisian workshops as well as in Vallauris, and produces porcelain pieces as well as objects and small furniture. In 2015, one of his projects was selected for the Nuit Blanche in Paris. In 2018 she received the Label Made in Paris from the Paris City Hall. His film “Tout feu tout flamme” on the ironworker of art Pierre Basse, former ironworker of Diego Giacometti and Garouste et Bonetti is selected at the FIFMA festival (Festival International du Film des Métiers d’Art) and won the Grand Prix as well as the public prize. She also creates a chandelier and a light fixture for the Ledoyen Pavilion in Paris. In 2019, she made a chandelier 7 meters high for the Domaine des Andéols in Luberon.
