Nicolas Lequeux

A graduate of a Master in Media and Communication Engineering, his research focuses on the links between humanity and objects. His first object is a cell phone shell, an object that has become as essential as the knife from the Middle Ages, and which will be sold at Colette.

Soon, he wonders about the love that humans have for objects. In 2018, his stools project The Kindness received a special prize from Villa Noailles for his idea of recycling cork waste.

With Emaux de Longwy, he works on the Art Deco history of the manufacture to create new patterns to link new and old generations using childish colors and digital graphics.

His projects are based on the search for functionality and rationality while adding an emotional touch. His goal is to create desirable objects charged with emotions so that they can be more sustainable.

He works between Paris and Hyères-Les-Palmiers
