{"id":127,"count":8,"description":"Studio Caramel is an interior and multi\u2013disciplinary product design studio based between Beirut and Paris. Established in 2016 by designers Karl Chucri and Rami Boushdid, the studio develops furniture, objects and interior solutions for both private clients and\r\ncommercial spaces. The designers draw various references from the mid-century modern era; not just for its remarkable furniture but also from the general spirit of that time, alluding to transportation\r\nvehicles, visual culture, typography and the numerous historicized achievements.\r\nSoon after its launch the studio caught the eye of renowned magazines Wallpaper* and Financial Times UK. As the name of the designers started becoming more widespread,\r\nthe studio had the privilege to work with important names such as Soho House in Los Angeles and Toronto and the Wallpaper store.\r\nIn 2018 and after multiple collaborations, the designers were selected and honored by a committee of jury from Maison &amp; Objets as well as key curators in Lebanon for the \u2018Rising Talent Award\u2019.
