From a search for perfection in the combination of materials, forms and techniques, attention to detail and finish and a nose for composition and proportions, he creates timeless functional objects with great depth . Strength, tension and stability often form the basis from which the balance between composition and construction is sought. Kerkhofs always studies the relationship between parts and wholes, both in his work and in individual conceptions, which often results in modular systems with huge variations in formal possibilities. Bram Kerkhofs (\u00b0 1977) lives and works in Louvain (Belgium).
