How did she use all her sources of inspiration to crystallize such a singular work? She comes from the Burgundy\/Franche Comt\u00e9 region in France where she grew up in an old monastery. She practices plastic arts, drawing, painting and dance. Here she is in balance with the benefits of the earth and a desire for culture, between the doing and the spirit.\r\n\r\nShe studied at the Ecole Boulle in Paris, first in silverware, then moved from manufacturing to design, turning towards furniture design. A double training, like a balance, to find a point of equilibrium. For her graduation in 2003, she takes a further step aside, ventures with success towards the implementation of paper, as a designer who gives herself the freedom of the artist. Because it is with her hands first and foremost that this designer tames the material. A fan of the unexpected, attentive to the behaviour of materials, she bets on an unexpected shaping. The factories are one of her favourite playgrounds, where she hunts down falls and scraps. Paper, wood, metal, glass, cloth, and various plastics are her repentances. She also has preferences for abandoned, unused materials, but they do not bear any traces of evidence of reuse. They are transfigured, thanks to reformulated typologies, combined with new technology.\r\n\r\nSince then, she built her business in different directions. This researcher, always on standby to feed her own laboratory, experiments everything. Experienced in creating at different levels, she collaborates with brands, editors and institutions. The designer has more than one turn of objects and scenographies in her boxes.In all of her projects, there is game, lightness and mischievousness, with all the inherent hold of design. She unfolds a marabout of poetic strings where fragility and solidity meet.
