Description
After training in Decorative Arts, Alain Bourdon created his graphic design workshop. Since then, he has signed numerous exhibition posters, signage for museums and institutions, models for many art books … He constantly thinks about translating his commitment and his values into his work, which must be ethical.
The Minimalist Wave was born out of a desire to re-appropriate time and express simple things with a minimum of strokes. “When the drawing starts, the world can fall apart, I can’t stop. Who does that these days? Say “no” to what constantly wants us, like our smartphone, work, external requests… ”.
One of his greatest pleasures: being alone in the water or on a cliff and feeling small; “It reminds me of how deadly we are and must enjoy without hurting. Be minimalist, and happy ”.
