David Bihanic

David Bihanic is a designer, exhibition curator and lecturer at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University (researcher attached to the ACTE Institute), also researcher associated with EnsADlab – laboratory of the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs . He is the author of numerous books and articles (scientific and popularization) dealing with new “territories” and design issues.
In his work (crossing Research and Creation), David Bihanic examines both the advances and the aesthetic, epistemological and praxeological constraints and determinations of design in his collaboration with the engineering sciences. Specialist in data design (or data design), he studies the different paradigms of representation-visualization of big data and works on the conception of idiomatic formalisms which augur a greater “expressiveness” of information.
