Object designer graduated from the Boulle School, Dorian ETIENNE opened up to Taiwanese crafts during a six-month residency at the National Institute of Crafts in Taiwan (N.T.C.R.I.). He developed craft skills there to deepen and nurture his designer skills.
Her work combines design, art and craftsmanship, most often through limited editions. Thus, registered in a territory, he observes and apprehends culture, techniques and materials.
Experimentation is then its support for creation. Indeed, the new characteristics of the material are for him a library of ideas; the limits of the material allow it to see new uses.
Basically, its approach is respectful of the environment, from design to completion.
