Formel Studio

Formel is a creation and manufacturing studio founded in August 2019 by Timothée Concaret, industrial designer and Nicolas Mérigout, craftsman-designer. Their desire is to reconcile industry and crafts by producing fair and responsible objects. Their complementary know-how allows them to carry out a project from A to Z, from the sketch to the production in small series. As designers, they create simple, timeless and enthusiastic objects. A modest design for a useful object. As craftsmen, they anticipate the constraints linked to the production methods used. Finally, by drawing to the smallest assembly element, they pay tribute to the work of the hand and the machine. They intervene without distinction in different fields and are interested in the object as a whole. In parallel with their collaborations with companies such as Ligne Roset or SNCF, they produce their own pieces of furniture, designed and manufactured by hand in their workshop in Paris, from sustainably managed resources.
