Joran Briand, designer was born in Vannes in 1983. He graduated from ENSAAMA and ENSAD and co-founded the studio Briand Berthereau in 2011.

Created in 2011 by Joran Briand and Arnaud Berthereau, the studio works in the fields of design. His philosophy can be summed up in a few words: do the maximum with the minimum. This approach, which can be described as “frugal”, aims to achieve the perfect balance between form and use while optimizing the responses to the constraints, financial or environmental, inherent in each project. To achieve this, we like to make the subjects “speak” by going straight to the point, obviously. We try to erode the design of each object to rid it of all superfluity and to exalt its power of emotion.
