Pascal Lacotte

After passing his diplomas as a jeweler and a jeweler, Pascal Lacotte collaborated as a designer, jewelry designer for several Parisian companies.

He switched to the world of glasses after meeting Alain Mikli for whom he worked for a few years as a designer, then making collections and fashion show pieces for haute couture.

Pascal Lacotte then founded the IDC design workshop in 1985. For 18 years he created hundreds of models there until 2004.

The rest of his career was spent in Italian companies for which he developed licensed haute couture products.

After obtaining the diploma of Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2015 he decided to found in Marseille his own company of design and manufacture of custom frames:

Since June 2015, he has designed collections for the world of glasses and haute couture, produces prototypes and ensures technical development with factories abroad.
Collaborating with manufacturers on production site for complex products to be developed, he develops with all types of materials and processing technologies, whether acetate, metal or combinations of various materials.

To get closer to the wearers of His glasses and have a direct link with them, he specializes in high-end made-to-measure.
He creates frames in the most noble materials which he designs exclusively for his private customers.
His training as a jeweler allows him to decorate settings with stones and precious metals; he refuses to work genuine tortoiseshell and ivory for ethical reasons.

Following the obtaining of the Meilleur Ouvrier de France diploma, he joined the association of MOF-Lunetiers where he regularly gave lessons to ensure the transmission of his know-how.
