Patrick Jouin

Patrick Jouin is a designer. His creativity is expressed in industrial design as well as in the decorative arts. Associated with the biggest for exceptional projects, Cassina, Kartell, Alessi, Puiforcat, JC Decaux or Fermob, it occupies a special place in the international design landscape where few know how to evolve with ease and strength. The career of Patrick Jouin, and his design agency, Patrick Jouin ID, was dedicated by a monographic exhibition at the Center Pompidou in 2009 and honored with the Compasso d’Oro prize for PastaPot in 2011. Several of his creations have entered in the permanent collections of museums around the world, in particular the “Solid” collection at MOMA, which in 2004 was the first series of 1-scale furniture produced using 3D printing technologies. Patrick Jouin is also involved in interior architecture projects with his partner Sanjit Manku, within the Jouin Manku agency founded in 2006.
