Samuel Accoceberry

Born in Bordeaux, lives and works in Paris. Graduated from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’ Art de Nancy and Raymond Loewy School of Industrial Aesthetics. Samuel Accoceberry has worked for 10 years for prestigious design agencies in France and Italy, such as: Arik Levy, Antonio Citterio, and Rodolpho Dordoni. In 2010, he starts his own studio and works with different companies as a designer and artistic director. Samuel was honoured in 2013 by the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris for all his creations as well as for his creative approach. Samuel Accoceberry has also received several international awards, including three Red Dot Design Awards and a German Design Award.
In his work, he attaches particular importance to the valorisation of know-how, the beautiful craftsmanship, and the place of the human being in the project, whether it is with an artisanal structure or an industrial company. The expression of his creations tends rather towards a pure, contemporary, elegant line, with a graphic effect often sought-after. Samuel conceives above all the creation as a whole without partitions, he works in the various fields of design, whether it is furniture, industrial design, street furniture, lighting, interior design, scenography, artistic direction for an industrial company, limited edition pieces.
He collaborates with: Aéroport de Paris, Alki, Bosc, JCDecaux, La Boite Concept, La Boite Concept, Chevalier Edition, Staub, IPI, Carrefour, Toulemonde Bochart, Dorelan, Drouot, Momentum Gallery, Olivier Waltman Gallery, etc. Samuel Accoceberry has had exhibitions at the Musée d’ Art Moderne and Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, the Musée de la Céramique de Vallauris, the Triennale Design Museum in Milan and the Design Museum in Holon.
