Timour Ay

The designer and visual artist Timour AY lives and works in France and the Netherlands. His activity is registered between sculpture and design. In his self-production approach he works with materials with force, to twist or melt, sometimes going so far as to destroy to create.
Through his creations he seeks to awaken our imagination and invites us to contemplation.
For this he takes example from nature, in perpetual motion, whose phenomena make echo his productions.
The Mirage ceramic series was born from the observation of light erosion and refraction.
A graduate of IN-SITU-LAAB in Rennes, he has been a creator at the Molen studio for several years in Amsterdam alongside the artist Fréderick Molenschot. Timour AY is working on the design there, and
the production of unique and exceptional objects, notably for the Carpenters Workshop Gallery.
