Fashion Designer and Artist Wataru Tominaga has lived in Helsinki, Tokyo, London and Paris. His work explores fashion design with unique handmade textiles. The inspiration and research are drawn from mixture of clothing culture and contemporary visual culture in various histories and regions.
He has graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design BA Fashion in 2015, and he received The Première Vision Grand Jury Prize at the 31th edition of the Hyères International Festival of Fashion and Photography, also graduated from MA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts in 2016. And He was chosen for a member of Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2018.
Now he lives and works in Tokyo.
