The CHZON agency was formed 10 years ago in Paris by Dorothée Meilichzon. Trained in industrial design, Dorothée is very attached to the development of concepts and tries to tell a new story with each project. The agency focuses on the historical context, the form of the space, the details, the anecdotes that each new site can provide. Thus, each project is unique, well installed in its context.
The agency has built around fifty bars, hotels, restaurants, in Paris but also in London, New York, Venice, Cannes, Monaco, Menorca and Ibiza.
Dorothée Meilichzon has received numerous awards and mentions, notably that of ‘Creator of the year’ at Maison et Objet in 2015, and named in the FD100 (the 100 designers who promote ‘French design’ internationally), and is also every year in the press rankings of interior designers, decorators who count.
Very attached to her training as a designer, and to the global experience of her places, Dorothée designs the furniture, frescoes, patterns and layouts for each project that her craftsmen who are dear to her will carry out: mosaicist, cabinetmaker, staffer, upholsterer , marble, decorative painter, locksmith ….
She also chooses dishes, outfits, designs logos and menus.

L’agence CHZON a été formée il y a 10 ans à Paris par Dorothée Meilichzon. Formée au design industriel, Dorothée est très attachée à l’élaboration de concepts et essaye à chaque projet de raconter une nouvelle histoire. L’agence s’attache au contexte historique, à la forme de l’espace, aux détails, aux anecdotes que peuvent leur fournir chaque nouveau chantier. Ainsi, chaque projet est unique, bien installé dans son contexte.L’agence a réalisé une cinquantaine de bars, hôtels, restaurants, à Paris mais aussi à Londres, à New York, à Venise, à Cannes, à Monaco, à Minorque et à Ibiza.Dorothée Meilichzon a reçu de nombreuses récompenses et mentions, notamment celle de ‘Créateur de l’année’ à Maison et Objet en 2015, et nommée dans le FD100 (les 100 designers qui font rayonner le ‘French design’ à l’international), et est aussi chaque année dans les classements de la presse des architectes d’intérieur, décorateurs et in uenceurs qui comptent.Très attachée à sa formation de designer, et à l’expérience globale de ses lieux, Dorothée dessine les meubles, les fresques, les motifs et calepinages de chaque projet que vont réaliser ses artisans qui lui sont chers:mosaïste,ébéniste,staffeur,tapissier, marbrier, peintre décoratif, serrurier….Elle choisit aussi la vaisselle, les tenues, dessine les logos et menus.
